BBALL HOME   |   SCHEDULE   |   COACHES Ranger Athletics is proud to offer MS, JV, and Varsity Boys' and Girls' Basketball teams. Our teams are open to students grades 6th-12th. We are beginning our fourth year of Ranger basketball. We are very excited about the upcoming season. We have expanded our coaching staff to provide more individualized attention. Jason Ouellette will return as the girls' head coach, focusing on the Varsity and Junior Varsity teams. Hutch and Cindy Matteson will take over the Middle School girls. Hutch is the lead pastor at North Lanier Baptist Church, and he and Cindy are excited about the opportunity to work with the 6th-8th grade girls in this capacity. Hutch has played basketball numerous years and will focus on teaching the fundamentals. Brian Fussell will join us as the boys' head coach. Brian has several years experience coaching high school girls. Brian has been getting ready for the season for the past several months and is very excited for the opportunity to be a part of the Rangers. Player fees for the 2009-2010 season are $150 per player and includes their uniform (which will remain property of Ranger Athletics). All equipment is provided. The only item players will need to provide are good court shoes, socks, and slider shorts (optional). 2009-2010 fees are due October 9. Practices and home games are at Good Shepherd Catholic Church Recreation Center (directions). We also will be practicing at North Lanier Baptist Church (directions) to allow for more flexibility. All teams practice Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Please see the schedule page for a more detailed practice schedule. Once games begin, Tuesday and Friday practices will be very limited. Please check the schedule for times and directions to all games. Admissions prices for home games: Adults -$4; Students - $2; 5 and under FREE; Family max - $12.
